縱觀古今，“大師”所出，千百年難遇，若出，必是承載歷史重任的傳奇人物。先不論其他，單說中國傳統書畫界，上溯晉唐，下傳明清， 攻書畫者甚多，能稱大師者寥寥，而近現代，更是所出無幾。雖沉寂多時，然天公卻未負“不拘一格降人才”之重任，為當代中國書畫界降下一位當之無愧的大師級藝術家——王良虎。
在王良虎大師的筆墨生涯中，他認為臻善雋美的書法表達應是超逸的，讓觀其作品的人都會產生一種美妙感受，王良虎大師的作品可謂“既有大將破陣之聲威，又有楊柳搖春的儀態；既有雷霆萬鈞之氣勢，又有芙蓉出水的豐姿”。其作品的結構布局蒼勁瀟灑，氣勢磅礴，頗得書寫之堂奧。在抒情寫心時，講求“計白當黑”，便有呼應得當、互生意趣之自然成韻，又有“氣蒸云夢澤，波撼岳陽城”的氣魄，這是他在深研古法后融入的一種積極上進的創新精神而產生的審美意趣!他的作品古不乖時，今不同弊，既吸納著古人之意蘊，又富含著時人之情趣，體現出古韻新意的獨特自我。源源不竭的創新動力來自于他的勤勉和不棄，在他厚積薄發，旁征博引以及文化積淀里!嘔心瀝血的創作和輝煌藝術成就讓王良虎大師聲名遠播。一直以來，諸多媒體對他的報道蜂擁而來，他的名字亦被收錄進各種典籍永饗后人。

先后到十幾個國家舉辦個人書法作品展與藝術交流曾獲“法國世界藝術大展首位書法最高創作獎”,聯合國教科文組織紐約協會“促進國際和平文化貢獻”獎,美中國際商會,“和平藝術家獎”,英中“藝術終身成就獎”,白俄羅斯國家文化聯盟“白中文化藝術貢獻最高獎”,泰王國:旺猜親王頒發的“泰中藝術交流貢獻最高獎”,烏克蘭文化部“烏中藝術貢獻獎”,中日友好交流展、全國書法藝術節、中國教育電視臺“水墨丹青杰出藝術人物”獎等多項大獎,被授予“中國知識產權文化大使”等稱號,其創作的草書系列與榜書糸列兩項著作權,獲得國家版權局著作權保護,獲中國傳統藝術(非遺)傳承人稱號,榮獲“蘭亭終身成就獎”,國際中國公益事業大典“形象大使”稱號,在聯合國成立75周年之際,被授予“聯合國ACAA藝術和平大使”榮譽。
多幅作品曾多次搭載“神州”系列飛船上天,另有諸多作品被人民大會堂、軍事博物館,國家圖書館,中華人民共和國外交部等機構以及國外首相、大使等名人收藏。
