今年天行一中首開中美班（中美方向國際班），自開班以來，一直受到了廣大學生家長和外界的關注。美國留學規劃也成為天行眾多學生和家長最為關心的話題。10月31日下午，美國駐華大使館Education USA高級教育專員沈毅（Steven Shen）老師訪問我校，就美國留學申請問題與天行學子進行面對面交流，使學生獲得最官方權威的美國申請指導。
This year, the first American class was set in Teensen No.1middle school. Since the beginning of the class, it has attracted the attention of parents and the outside world. The study abroad program in the United States has also become the most concerned topic for many students and parents of Teensen. On the afternoon of October 31, Mr. Steven Shen, senior education Commissioner of Education USA of the U.S. Embassy in China, visited our school to conduct face-to-face exchanges with Teensen students on the application of studying abroad in the United States, so that students can obtain the most official and authoritative guidance on Application in the United States. Mr. Shen Yi is one of the twelve senior education specialists of the U.S. Embassy in China. He has nearly ten years' experience in the United States.
沈毅老師是美國駐華大使館十二位高級教育專員之一,他擁有近十年美國高等教育體制和美國升學指導的豐富經驗。沈毅老師向我校師生介紹了學校和專業的選擇、留學政策、等赴美留學相關問題，還就老師、同學們關心的美國大學申請、美國大學生學習情況等相關問題進行耐心細致的解答。
Mr. Shen Yi is one of the twelve senior education commissioners of the U.S. Embassy in China. He has rich experience in the U.S. higher education system and U.S. entrance guidance for nearly ten years. Mr. Shen Yi introduced to our teachers and students the choice of school and major, study abroad policy, and other issues related to studying in the United States. He also patiently and meticulously answered the relevant questions about the application of American universities and the study situation of American college students that the teachers and students concerned about.
沈毅老師憑借多年的教育經驗，對美國高等教育進行了深入淺出的解析，為同學們帶來一場精彩的交流分享，使同學們對自己未來的美國留學有了更加深入的認識。中美班學生作為天行美國留學方向的主力軍，在講座之后，周燦（Kitty）同學提到：“聽完講座，我知道了A-Level課程相對AP、IB課程更加適合中國的學生，它的教育體系相對完整；同時沈老師指導我們該如何去挑選大學和專業，讓我明白排名第一的大學并不是最好的大學，只有最適合你的大學才是最好的大學?！?/p>
With years of educational experience, Mr. Shen Yi has analyzed American higher education in a simple way, bringing students a wonderful exchange and sharing, and enabling students to have a deeper understanding of their future American study abroad. After the lecture, students from China and the United States, as the main force of studying in the United States, said: "after listening to the lecture, I learned that A-level courses are more suitable for Chinese students than AP and IB courses, and its education system is relatively complete; at the same time, Mr. Shen pointed out how to choose universities and majors, so that I could understand that the university ranking first is not the best University, only the most suitable university for you is the best university.
天行一中校長助理Vivian提到舉辦此次活動的初衷時指出，“沈老師是美國留學申請的官方權威人士，此次請他來為學生進行面對面指導，可以讓學生獲得第一手的權威官方資訊和最專業的美國留學申請指導?！?/p>

沈毅老師的到訪解決了一些我們對于學生留學美國方面的一些困惑和問題。他的到來與學校建立聯系，了解天行對美交流的需求，今后將從大使館的角度為學校提供各種與美國高校交流合作的機會和資源。
Mr. Shen Yi's visit solved some of our puzzles and problems in studying in the United States. His arrival will establish contact with the University, understand the demand of Skywalk for us exchanges, and provide various opportunities and resources for the university to exchange and cooperate with US universities from the perspective of Embassy in the future.
實際上此次的美國駐華大使館Education USA高級教育專員到訪活動只是天行一中升學指導處日常的工作之一，升學指導處每月都會邀請世界名校的招生官及相關領域的最權威人士為學生帶來最新的升學資訊，提供最專業的指導。除此之外，從升學指導到未來長期職業規劃，為天行學子生涯發展全程精心護航，這也正是天行一中今年提交申請的十三位畢業生均被世界前一百名校錄取的背后隱藏的功臣。
