是否還記得我們上個月推出的“老師眼中的天行一中”系列嗎?是的,沒錯,今天我們又重新營業了?!袄蠋熝壑械奶煨幸恢邢盗兄暗闹魅斯且晃粍側肼毺煨袃蓚€月的數學老師——Grace,是什么讓她毅然從體制內轉入天行,她眼中的天行又是怎樣的呢,讓我們一探究竟吧。
或許每位老師來到天行一中的契機都不同,坦白說,我決定入職天行只用了一個晚上。一個晚上,我決定辭去公辦學校高中數學教師一職,孤身一人來到南昌。那時候我真不知道我的決定是否正確,寫下這篇文章的時候距離第一次來天行剛好整整兩個月,現在問自己后悔嗎?我希望通過這篇文章告訴各位答案。
Maybe every teacher has a different answer about why they came to Teensen. To be honest, it only took me one night to make my decision. Only one night, I quited my job as a math teacher in public high school and then came to Nanchang alone. At that time I didn't know whether this is suitable decision or not. When I wrote this article, it was exactly two months after I came here. I asked myself and tell you the answer hereinafter.
初到天行的我是困惑的
入職天行的前半個月,用一個詞來總結我的心情:困惑。不僅是在教學有某些困惑,還包括其他的一些困惑。比如,每天下課鈴一響,我便能看見學生涌進教師辦公室抓住老師問問題,說要老師我要做office time,桌邊的飯菜就這樣一點點冷掉,老師也沒有表現出一點不耐煩,每位老師也不會因為下班了有一絲的不情愿,這種現象幾乎每天都在上演。我和Shirley、Rachel兩位老師住一起,每天下班回到家,迎接我的都是滿桌子的作業和教案,感覺我每次不是回家,而是從一個辦公室到了另一個辦公室。這種困惑的狀態一直持續了近半個月,每天我都很努力工作,但是這種努力更多是被動的。
I summed up my mood in first half month in Teensen: confusion. Not only in teaching, but also in other aspects. Everyday, for example, when the bear rang, students flocked into office room to ask questions and confirm the office time. Even if meal is already cold, teachers never be impatient. I live with two teachers, Shirley and Rachel. When I come home after work every day, I am greeted by the desk which full of homework and teaching plans.It seems that I am not going home every time, but going from one office to another. This state of confusion lasted for nearly half a month. I worked very hard every day, but this effort was relative more passive.
直到9月10日教師節,我清楚的記得那時的所有場景,2班的孩子給每位任課老師送了教師節禮物,給我送禮物的孩子是一個女生,叫程萬芷儀,她雙手捧著賀卡和禮物雙手送到我面前。一個很內向羞澀的女生,鼓起勇氣走到你面前,但她喜歡你呀,因此她鼓起勇氣,帶著這份害羞的勇敢,怯生生地說一句:老師,節日快樂。那一刻大概就是心化了的感覺,那時我也真的沒有經驗,她害羞,我也害羞啊,弱弱地接下禮物,道聲:謝謝。孩子離開辦公室后,我腸子都悔青了,恨自己怎么這么不爭氣。如果再來一次,我一定要站起來,抱抱她,說出鋼鐵俠對他女兒說的那句話:I love you thousands time。
Until teachers' on September 10th, I clearly remember all the sense at that time. The students from class 2 sent gifts to their teachers. A girl named 程萬芷怡holded the gift with card and handed it to to me. A introverted girl took heart of grace because of favour, timid to say: Happy holidays! At that time I felt full of warmness because I don't have such a experience before. She is shy and I also be shy. I said thank you in a low voice. After she leaved I was regret. If it were to happen again, I will stand up to hug her and say what iron man said to his daughter: I love you thousands time.
不拋棄,不放棄
從那一天起,我所有的困惑都有了答案,我這才真切的領會到那句世人都說爛了的臺詞:teachers are engineers of the soul。我才意識到,班里一個又一個學生,他們都擁有著這世上最純粹的靈魂和無限發展的可能,而作為他們的老師,作為高中時期陪伴他們時間最長的一個角色,我們要做的是在有限的時間內給予他們無限的愛;是在有限的空間內去發展他們無限的可能;是領著學生沿著知識的小道,向著人類智慧的頂峰攀登。
From that day, all of my confusion has been answered. And I truly understand the words: teachers are engineers of the soul. I just realized that students have the purest soul and infinite probabilities. As their teachers, the character that will accompany with them for the longest time in three years. We should give them infinite love in limited time. It is also develop their infinite possibilities in limited space. It is that lead students towards to the peak of human's climb.
從那個時候開始我理解了,為什么身邊的這樣一批老師,愿意犧牲自己的時間陪伴孩子;為什么他們都這么有耐心有毅力;不是因為誰工資更高,也不是因為誰傻不去休息,是因為大家心底的熱愛,對教育和學生的熱愛。公立學校六七十人一個班,其中一定會有十幾個孩子是你沒辦法教也沒精力管的,而老師的不管不問,對孩子來說基本等同于人生被拋棄。作為老師,肯定會不斷地問自己,你是不是做得還不夠?是不是還能再救一個?
From that time on, I understood why such a group of teachers around me are willing to sacrifice their time to accompany their children. Why are they so patient and persistent; It's not because of who gets paid more, it's not because of who doesn't need to take a break, it's because of our deep love for education and students. In a class of 60 or 70 students in a public school, there must be more than a dozen children that you can't teach or manage, and the teacher's indifference is basically equivalent to the abandonment for a child. As a teacher, you must constantly ask yourself, have I done my duty ? Can I save another one?
但在天行一中,卻是完全不同的大環境。小班制的教學,讓每位老師在課內、課外都能有足夠的精力去關注到每個學生的發展。如果學生的數理化弱些,老師將會一對一給學生輔導。如果輔導還不行,老師們將會緊急開會討論學生的問題,讓學生找到最適合自己的科目。最終每個學生在天行都會得到最適合自己的發展,成為最好的自己??傊?,在天行,我們從不放棄任何一個學生。
But in Teensen, it is a completely different environment. Small class system of teaching, so that each teacher in class or not have enough energy to pay attention to the development of each student. If the students are weak in math, physics and chemistry, the teacher will give them one-on-one tutoring. If the tutoring doesn't work, the teachers will hold an urgent conversation to discuss the students' problems and help the students to find the most suitable subjects. In the end, every student will get the most suitable for their own development and become the best themselves. In some words, in Teensen, we never give up any student.
我意識到這就是我理想中的教育,這也是天行一中能夠走得遠走得快的理由。上有劉校、黃校以愛之名的創辦理念,莊老師、悅姐及各部門對教學的統籌規劃,下有身邊一批教師懷揣對教育的深愛,勤勉地在天行這片沃土上工作。因此天行走在江西國際教育最前列,我相信天行有一天也必將走在全國國際教育的最前列。
I realized that this is my ideal education, and this is also the reason why Teensen can go far and fast. Principal Liu, principal Huang fund the school in name of love, Rainy, yue and all the departments make overall planning of teaching, under the side of a number of teachers with deep love for education, diligently work in Teensen everyday. Therefore, Teensen is in the forefront of international education in Jiangxi, and I believe Teensen will also be in the forefront of international education in China someday.
