Follicle Stimulating Hormone, Human Pituitary, Iodination Grade
Follicle Stimulating Hormone, Human Pituitary, Iodination Grade, CAS 9002-68-0, is a native pituitary protein that regulates Sertoli cells by acting on G-protein-linked cell surface FSH receptors.
Description
Overview
Native, human follicle stimulating hormone from pituitary gland. Two-chain glycoprotein gonadotropic hormone that induces maturation of the Graafian follicles of the ovary. Promotes the development of germinal cells in males. FSH regulates Sertoli cells by acting on G-protein-linked cell surface FSH receptors. Activates cytosolic soluble protein tyrosine kinase (CyPTk). Immunopotency: ≥2000 IU/mg
